FLED 2 1/2: Oct 30 - Nov 1 or Nov 6-8

Who is up for a short 2-3 day FLED 2 1/2? Dates are either Oct 30 - Nov 1 or Nov 6-8 and the routing will be across southern England to the great driving roads of Wales.

Meet location will be just west of London on Friday night for the traditional kick off dinner.

Count me in provisionally, just depends if I've got the kids that weekend as I'm away in Holland the weekend before.

Would love to but in Rome that weekend. Any other weekend, late Oct or in Nov would be fine if dates were flexible.

As mentioned before, personally I am completely flexible and both dates suit me, but professionally something may come up.

If I'm not travelling then I will be there.

I have voted for Oct 30-Nov 1 but I could also do Nov 6-8. Looking forward to FLED 2 1/2!

I'm definitely OK for the 6-8 Nov dates, but will have to meet up with you en route at some point on the morning of the 7th. Any ideas of the main route, stop overs and hotels yet? Preferably something good quality but not extortionately expensive, please
Is it OK to bring my young co-pilot with me? As you know, he goes everywhere with me.

Excellent Gentlemen. I am hoping to have the Daytona ready for this trip. Otherwise it will be the F40.

Let me know when you settle on a date. If I can I'll get a ferry over to join up with you (and I'll probably bring a young co-pilot too )

Did I mention I'm quite keen to join this trip (understatement of the year)???

Hope it all comes together.

Trip is definitely on.

Young co-pilots are welcome.

Only thing TBD is which date.

Just get some oars, its much cheaper. Probably best to use the Mondial as its gonna be lighter than the 456

Not a problem, happy to do so. However we do need to collect the overseas FLED entry fee upfront. If roughly works out to be about equal to the shipping charges.....

Gents,
Just did quick check on sailings, if the w/end of Oct 30th suited I can be in Holyhead at 11a.m. and could meet you that afternoon/evening at a location west of London. I'd need to be back in Holyhead, Sunday, by 4p.m. which might be reasonably good timing, if the route brought us west thru Southern England and north into Wales as per Boxer's suggestion.

If it's not a runner and Nov 6-8 is more preferable, not to worry, there will always be the next FLED!!.

Route Depart Arrive/Duration
Dublin (IrishF) to Holyhead (IrishF) Fri 30 Oct 09 08:45 10:45 2hr 0min
Holyhead (IrishF) to Dublin (IrishF) Sun 1 Nov 09 17:15 19:04 1hr 49min

Seems more people can make the first set up dates. So lets go with Oct 30 - Nov 1.
