Time for a change: Selling the 360 Modena

Have decided it is time for a change, I will be putting the 360 Modena up for sale shortly with the intention of replacing it with a 550 or 575. The 360 has been a great car but I want to take the opportunity of pairing the Daytona with its modern descendent. Hence the desire to exchange the 360 for a recent front engine V12 GT.

Interesting change.

What are you leaning towards - 550 or 575 (if 575 I presume gated)?

Still, I bet you'll miss that 360 - it was a great example with beautiful colour combo.

Having owned a 550, probably opt for a 575 just for something a little different. Gated and with the Fiorano handling pack are givens for the 575.

A 550/575 will go very nicely with the Daytona. Any preference for colour?

Prefer Blue or Black, but red might be ok depending on the car.

Close, would like to cut the roof off a 550 and turn it into a spider someday.

I am jealous on either choice; but the 575 with a gate is a must. I think it will go down as one of the most desirable front engine Fcars for years to come.

CGT's TDF blue 575 looks very nice, nero metallic would look good too. Not sure about rosso corsa, but a darker metallic red would look nice on a 575.

The 550/575 is in every sense of the word a classic Ferrari. Consequently all classic Ferrari colours work on that design, IMHO. Attached is Maranello Rosso, but I think Rosso Cordoba would be amazing as well. Attached a 275GTB in that colour.

like the 550, but the 575 Gated, with [perhaps] updgraded package is very nice.

agree, there is no lacking in the newer 12 cylinders, but older 456 gts are needing sorting these days....get a good one.

think I got it sorted....still working on it.

SIDE NOTE to arch: don't turn off your ECU's...and IF you must, give it ample time to sort out before taking up to any speed...just saying.

and greg, it's not for sale

Schmendrick,

If you rest your ECU's you need to let them relearn the car before you drive it.

a) turn key on for 30 seconds
b) then start car w/no electrical on and run for 5 minutes
c) drive car

The NART Blu 360 is beautiful, but 575M is a fantastic choice for a replacement IMHO.

Is Maranello Rosso the same as Rosso Fiorano?

As you are considering another Maranello, I found this one on the web.

This is a Franco Sbarro interpretation of a wide version and I think it is pretty nasty, don't you?
