Very nicely done, love front end treatment (reminds me of the 355 and 456 fronts), but not sure about 20" wheels.

California roads have become terrible and 19's are enough of a challenge!

Nice overall feeling with 360 genes.

I'm liking it, and except for the front and engine, it looks very similar to the Ferrari SP1 built a few months ago.

Hope one can two-tone the Italia, I think it looks like a nice change.

You could certainly give it the "Boxer" treatment with a black lower half.

That might look nice.

There was a 430 a few years ago at Concorso that was two-tone red/black from the factory!

It was a bit different but I was surprised that the factory did not do a great job.

That's very nice.

In 1973 I bought a new 280 SE coupe and it was one of the few with which M-B had experimented two-tone paints. It was all white with a hunter green top and dark green leather interior. A classy car and I only saw one other like that as well.

I have seen a red 360 with a black carbon fiber front hood that looked very nice too.

I am now having second thoughts about the front end treatment having seen the latest photos. Initially I loved it, but not sure about this photo. Needs to be seen in the flesh and I'm not convinced by the contrast of the black panel with the red.

Had not seen the car from that angle. Not too impressive. But, the overall car is sweet...

We all waited forever to finally see the car, Ferrari lets it out early, and then we now have folks now that are luke warm about it!

Come on, guys! Spread out a bit!

It was a minor concern on my part. I spent half an hour earlier today on the Ferrari site downloading sounds and photos of the Italia. As I said, overall it is sweet. I will certainly own one, one of these days...

I do understand.

I think Ferrari was turning back to the 355/456 grille styles for this model with a 360 flair and an Enzo influence.

It looks very nice but I still like the looks of my 360 better!

hate the new, but needed in these days, bug-like eyes of that headlamp cluster...but, better get used to it as it the new wave ...kind of like rubber bumper in the early 70's = [sorry guys who have one] yuck. :P

agree....not when one considers the very impressive stats under it all.

front end could be anything new age.....needed something a bit more, dramatic. IMO

Yup....

thought the thing actaully from some releases looked more like the P3/4 - P4/5 low lip thing, which...glad to say I am not a big fan of...each his own there.

First impression is very favorable but need to see it in the "metal" to form a proper opinion on the design. Performance wise, the spec are very very impressive.

Nice site conl. Has at least something of a configuraor.

Here is my objections on the 458 circled.

However, I'm noticing many objecting right off the bad on Ferrari's newer models, where there used to be little less than gushing: Could Ferrari truly be diluting the brand or is my memory just short. Remember the Dino days, and even the 3x8 series not getting much....sure these latest two, CA and 458 will catch, but have to wonder.

Personally I turning into a bit of a fuddy I guess, would love to have an older model, all metal and yet the 360/430 are appealing....gladly more now that the prices are, for me, in the ballpark.

what a deal.....Have enough trubs keeping everything sorted.

I agree with most of your issues.

I'll admit to being anal retentive since eight is not divisble by three (with the quotient being an integer) and I'm not thrilled by some of the front end treatment, either. Nonetheless, I love the car overall and hope to have one in my garage as personal economics allow...
