The Angelis video thread

I'm in the process of uploading all my old videos to youTube.

You can see them on my youtube channel:

http://www.youtube.com/user/FgearTV

Unfortunatly, my early stuff was done in standard definition. New stuff will be in HD. I've also got some new cameras that I'm itching to try out. So lots of new videos will be uploaded over teh next year.

I'm in the process of doing the same. I still have tons of B-roll laying around and some newer stuff in HD that I just haven't taken the time to edit. Lots of Ferraris and Lambos coming up in the near future.

If you aren't putting any advertising on the videos, then Vimeo is better place to upload HD videos to. If you upgrade to teh PLUS version you get 5000GB uploads per week. Much better than youtube.

Thanks for the tip, no ads in my video. I'll have to check how many HD videos I actually have. Does Vimeo have the time constraint that YouTube has? I have one video of 20+ 250 GTOs getting ready for a race that is about 14 minutes. Haven't had the time to shorten it and wanted to just upload the thing and be done for now.

From memory....

There is no time constraint on vimeo, but the file can't be bigger than 1GB.

Youtube has a 2GB limit, but ordinary users only get 10 minutes I think.

The other advantage is that you can chnage the settings so that only certain websites can embed your videos if you want. eg: people can only see it on the Ferrarilife website.
