Fuel guage fluctuation

I am having my fuel guage system repaired. The dealer says it's only a couple of hours and a familiar problem on the 360. Is anyone else experiencing erratic readings on their fuel guage? Thanks.

It has been a problem.

It requires a new float in the tank.

It's not a ciouple of hours so get a quote first!

The dealer has agreed to correct this under warranty for me since I noticed it the weekend I picked it up. Do you think this will reoccure or has the float been improved?

Thank you.

Garage
Does the Modena have two tanks like the spider? And are there two floats to be replaced?

Yes there are 2 tanks. As to floats I'll have to check the parts book and report back.

I would think not as the tanks Xfeed.

Shows as one (1) float P/N 194140 at about $100.00.

It's #3 on drawing and appears to be on driver's side.

I have a friend who replaced it himself. It was quite a job.

Float works now and the dealer says that there is an improvement in the design. Whether it goes again is anyone's guess but unlikely. Thanks all!
