Possible new job.

I thought I would post this being that it is correlative to cars in general. My mom told me about the job that her best friend has which is shuttling cars for a company. They are looking for younger help that are friends of current drivers. She wasn't very descriptive about it at first, but me having the questioning mind kept asking about the details. I finally gathered that she drives a car from a building to a journalist's house and picks up a car there and drives it back. All of the cars are brand new and are brought to be test driven for different magazine articles. The vehicles range from mini-vans to exotic sports cars. So far the nicest cars she has had to drive are a 7 series BMW, 911, and a few others that my mom wasn't able to remember. Yesterday she drove from Sterling Heights, Michigan (my city) to Cleveland, Ohio in a BMW and returned home in a Mercedes. This is the absolute best possible job I could get for the time being to replace "McDoinks" (as Greg would say). There are a few qualifications that I need.....to be 21.....responsible....and be able to drive stick....hmmmm

This sounds like the beginning of something beautiful relationship kid..

Or the a monster about to be born.

Either way it will make great reading for us so go for it Chris, I hope you get it.

Reminds me of one of my first jobs, I was a car jockey for a local dealer, I delivered cars from one dealer to another. I was fired one week later for laying rubber in the then new 84 Vette crossfire injection...

Go for it Chris It's got to be better than saying "would you like fries with that?" all day long and coming home stinking of fried vegetable oil.

I used to drive cars in my spare time for a used car dealer. The cars that sat on his lot for too long we would drive them to Conn. to be auctioned off and then pick up more cars to drive back. It was pretty fun for awhile.

I had the first interview today. All went great. I am a little nervous though because if you have 3 traffic offenses you can't work there. I have two five over tickets and the accident (that was thrown out). Would that one count as a traffic offense? Well basically he said the cars range from $10,000-$200,000 depending on the day. There was an Audi S8 outside about to be delivered. He said from time to time there are exotics too 20 car companies are connected with them.
