I have an idea for the 3200

I'm not good with fiddling with photo's but just to give an idea of what I'm thinking here's a photo of the 3200 with the centres of the wheels painted black. A dark grey might be nicer though.

what do you lot think. Leave it as standard or have a go and see how it looks. A better photo for a start would be a good idea I suppose

I think the black looks good! You've seen pic's of my car haven't you? If not check out http://www.ferrarilife.com/mylife/vi...=2898&mode=all and you'll get an idea of why I like black center rims.

If you are going to keep it, go ahead, otherwise I would not bother.

Pete. It was your car that had put the idea in my head as I've been trawling through various stuff on the site over the last few days.

Boxer. Took the car to work today after not driving it for a week. Can't make my mind up what to do. But sure you know me by now, can't settle with anything. I'm trying at the moment to see if I can work a deal for a GT4. But that could change by tomorrow

Seeing you agonize over what to do is really fun to observe I know it's probably not really cool from your point of view but damn... your car history makes an awesome soap opera. Like "Neighbours" on wheels.

The black looks good BTW but as Boxer said: keep it or don't bother

Lol, Ta for that Sure if it keeps you all enterained isn't that part of the craic.

I should have said, the wheels have a few chips of paint missing from around the edges so it was always my intention to paint them at some point. I'd like it right even if I'm selling it. Hence the reason for thinking about black centres while I was doing things.
The next wonder would be, would doing the wheels black detract from a potential sale.

I don't think so. Whether you keep the car or sell it, you feel that the wheels need attention. You are going to do what you feel is best, for the car and for your own enjoyment. I think your "modification" will actually make the car stand out from the rest and I think it will help improve the chances of a successful sale.

I think if you put 3 of those cars on a lot, all similar, same color and in the same price range, the one with the black wheels would sell first. It stands out from the others.
