Some people believe the weirdest things
Today I saw a documentary on National Geographic Channel about the fatefull mission of Apollo 13 and I started wondering... conspiracy theorists always claim that NASA staged and faked the moonlanding. Why then don't they claim that Apollo 13 was faked ?? If they don't claim that it was also faked, I can only assume they think it really happened. Now if that really happened... why do they have so much trouble believing that Neil Armstrong really did step on the moon?
While I was wondering about that, I told a friend of mine I was wondering about that. he then gave me a link with a story. It was in dutch so the english translation is below. It completely blows my mind that people actually believe this crap:
"When one of us attended a workshop by Sheldan Nidle a year and a half ago, one of the attendees asked if he knew whether we really went to the moon or not. Sheldon answered that we really did go there, but that the pictures and video showed all kinds of UFO's and alien military bases that humanity wasn't supposed to see. That's why they faked the video in a studioto keep the earth population happy. So yes, the film of Armstrong stepping of the ladder was fake, but we really did go there. He also mentioned that the Apollo had on board all kinds of nuclear weapons on board as well as stuff to build a military base on the Moon. The ET's over there were not amused and told the Americans in not too uncertain terms that their presence on the Moon was not wanted, since they didn't came with peacefull intent and new Moon missions would not be tolerated. Unmanned spaceflights were not a problem since they were purely scientific in nature. That's the reason we haven't been to the Moon since. Have you ever wondered why we didn't? It was a huge succes. And if something is a huge succes, you do it again..."
Has that guy utterly lost his marbles? Alien military bases on the moon? Some people are seriously nuts
