Minians and low cars do not mix

Driving tonight in the F355 down Broadway in SF and bam, nailed right in the side. Driver in the left lane wanted to go around the car in front of her and didn't see the low riding F355. The culprit was a Toyota Sienna:

Next time you are in SF watch out for me, apparently I come out of nowhere

The WORST part, is when you see it coming and cannot do anything at that point to avoid it. Then you hear the sound

After looking at it, the roof line of a F355 is lower than where the bottom of the windows on the Sienna start

Andrew, sorry to hear about your misfortune, unfortunately it seems to come with the territory of ownership.
I have had two near misses, one with a tractor pulling out of a junction, on a straight piece of road !! He never saw me !!
Another on a motorway and a truck overtaking another missed me in his blindspot !!
Keeps the reflexes on edge !!
Hope you get sorted out quickly and efficiently.

Nothing serious, just an annoyance, the driver admitted she didn't see me and I'm not surprised, the car is so low. I'll try to snap a photo or two.

Andrew,
I'm assuming this must be the same 355 you let me sit in last time I was in San Fran?

Bummer. But I'm not suprised. Women minivan drivers are in their own little world. I worry about that every time I take my 308 out. I once had a woman back out into the street right in front of my 6 foot tall, bright red Jeep with a huge bumper/winch combo on the front doing 40 mph and she also said she never saw me coming. No damage to the Jeep. This was years ago.

Get off the cell phone woman!!!

I'm new, but I offer my condolences to your car and am glad that you aren't hurt.

And yes...women in SUV's/minivans are actually in their own world.

Pete, Yes that's the F355.

Sadly I thought based on her business card and Linked-In profile that she would be a decent person. Wrong. Got a call from my insurance company saying she filed a claim against me. Lame.

Not suprised. You're driving a Ferrari so obviously you must have been speeding or otherwise breaking the law somehow and you must have lots of money. I'm sure she was driving carefully with both hands on the wheel, wanted to change lanes, checked her mirrors, put on her turn signal and then WHAM! Andrew smashes right into her! Poor woman is probably scarred for life. She'll probably sue you for emotional distress.

Everyone,
Here's a picture of me sitting in the car that Andrew turned into a weapon and tried to use it to kill an innocent woman.

Andrew I didn't know you had a F355. Do you own anything besides that and the Maser?

If you keep posting like this some day you will even pass Andrew! BTW, we are hijacking his thread. Sorry Andrew, may you and your 355 recover from this nasty fusion of metals. Any pics yet?
