GM getting government help?

What are your feelings on GM getting massive help from the government?

I don't think this will happen there is too much back lash already on this subject. Although the overall bailout is only a mere 25 billion for all the big three lol it is not being received well they figure that it will happen again in a few years time.

They feel that if the big three collapse eventually some co will buy it for cents on the dollar and create a more profitable and affordable auto for the masses i.e Toyota Honda etc..

This would also terminate all the Unions that are involved in the big three now wages would be reduced to a more reasonable rate thus making cars more affordable. Unions use to be good for the employees but as anything else they have developed into a money making machine and generally are looking out for themselves and not the employee.

I use to be president of our local Union for hospitality years back and I had to quit after a year after I didn't agree with their policies and behavior.

The question should be asked is why is the 700 billion dollar bail out that was suppose to help foreclosures is now being directed to the major banks instead totally doing the opposite that they promised the people of the United States.
