Lambo unveils 4-door Estoque concept

Full press release

Quote:
LAMBORGHINI ESTOQUE UNVEILED
IT IS A SEDAN…. BUT STILL A CONCEPT

After continuously teasing the world with snap-shots of a new Lamborghini, the Italian exotic car manufacturer has unveiled its latest concept, the four-door Estoque. But the teasing, it seems, has only just begun.

This mid-engined sedan (with the engine situated behind the front axle) could be powered by several possible engine choices says Lamborghini, including the V-10 found in the LP560, or possibly a twin-turbocharged V-8, or even a hybrid or turbo-diesel motor! This Quattro-Lambo utilizes the company’s permanent all-wheel-drive system and features 22-inch wheels up front and 23-inch wheels in the rear.

As for the dimensions, the Estoque is roughly 203-inches long, 78-inches wide and 53-inches tall. To put that in perspective, it’s roughly the same length as an extended wheelbase 7 Series but is five inches shorter and three-inches wider. The wheelbase is 118.5-inches.

Oh, and the answer to that other all-important question, the word Estoque is the name given to the sword that bullfighters use.

I actually like the look of it....interesting concept to say the least. I'm not a die hard Lambo fan, but I think it may be a good idea as long as it keeps the Gallardo and Murcielago.

I like it a lot better than the Porsche sedan.

I think it kinda has the new Camaro look to it.

Doesn't look too bad, but lacks a certain something...

Chris

really like the front end, thought the exact same thing about the rear though: looks like the new Camaro.

Glad to see an "everyday" lambo (although I drive my cars 20k miles a year in all weather despite most people treating them as weekend/leisure vehicles).

Not a bad looking car, but not inspiring, either. I agree, it lacks a certain something.

I'm not going to cry blasphemy, but I just can't get into 4-door supercars. Once it becomes big, seats four comfortably, and practial, it is no longer "exotic", no matter how rare or expensive it is. If I want a four door car -- i.e. a sedan -- I'm going to do it right, and get a nice Vanden Plas. Sedans are for comfort; get the sedan that does what sedans do best.

I want it ! ! !

They better make this a production car. or else...

I want one of these, Instead of getting a Maserati Quattroporte or the Porsche Panamera. Lambo All the way!!!!!

But whats the retail price ? the Quattroporte SporGT retails for $300,000 and who knows what the Porsche would go around for. but Lambo would most likey be around the $480,000 mark which is too much for this kind of car.
