This is the world's most expensive and fastest production car ever made.

This is the world's most expensive and fastest production car ever made. Dedicated to the Atlantique 57S from the 1930's, with a proven top speed of over 400 km/h, Sang Noir's most obvious features is an all-black exterior featuring exposed carbon fibre sections. Sang Noir translates to 'Black Blood' a rather ominous and foreboding name for your new multi-million dollar car Other features specific to the Sang Noir include new alloy wheels, aluminium side mirrors and grille surround, black-out headlights and a tan leather and Alcantara interior. The car boasts 1001hp and got a top speed of 407km/h.

Boxer, did you have a tough day ? Shouldn't be so blunt to someone who made his first post (whatever the purpose may be) and someone who says NOTHING in his/her profile section. Jimmy

Long day.

Just struck me as a bit odd that this was a first post, had nothing to do with Ferrari, and originally (since deleted) had a large hyperlink to another website. Hence the rather blunt quiry.

He's promoting his website.

He has two links to his website in his post above.

He also registered on another Ferrari forum and has been banned probably for doing the same thing.

not to start an arguement but isn't this version $1.4 million while the Hermes edition runs $2.4 million...making it considerably more expensive than the Sang Noir version?

Also, I thought the at 1001 HP and 253mph top speed was beaten by the Koenigsegg CCXR with 1018 HP and 254+ mph top speed (currently unpruven). At $1.96 and $2.2 million for standard and R models, it's more expensive than the Veyron model.

If you're goin gto start a useless and irreleavant thread, at least get your facts straight!

The Koenigsegg CCXR is totally brutal. Wasn't it Top Gear that suggested the spoiler after The Stig almost crashed it in the follow-through? Anyway... I think the Egg is better looking than the Veyron. But then again... the Veyron is a tad more luxureus

Egg > Veyron

Agreed, I'd take the Egg also. Over easy please.

On the records, I don't think Bugatti is the world's fastest car anymore...
The Ultima Aero TT is the fastest with a "claimed" speed of 413km/ph.
Although 0-100; the Bugatti is the worlds fastest!
Ferrari F430 Scuderia is the 12th fastest 0-100 acceleration...
Here are the Top fastest 0-100 cars in the world:

1. Bugatti Veyron 16.4 2006
2. Caparo T1 2007
3. Ultima GTR 2006
4. SSC Ultimate Aero TT
5. Saleen S7 Twin Turbo

12. Ferrari 430 Scuderia

It may be street legal but it is not a production car. Not enough are being made per year to qualify as a production car.

What can u say, the Bugatti Veyron's all over it's competition of supercars...
Just noticed, I'm dissapointed Ferrari havent' managed to make up a production car which can aim at being in the top 5 fastest both in speed and acceleration

Good to see you back, Bart ...and a sigh of relief. How are things in Orange County lately? Usually, I return to Southern California few times a year (my last visit was in May). Sure miss the weather and all. w/ smiles Jimmy

Egg > Veyron
I'm a bit of a freak when it comes to engineering solutions and hardware, but the Egg topps my list as sexiest solution with their doors. It's an engineering masterpiece, seeing pics or video's of it on line doesn't compare to standing there and closing it in person with 2 fingers.

Here are my top 5 designs/solutions (i.e. what I'd point out to a friend first if looking at the car)

1. Koenigsegg door opening/closing
2. McLaren F1 cockpit (Euro model with actual jump seats)
3. McLaren Exhaust system
4. Ferrari Enzo steering wheel
5. Bugatti Veyron engine design (cool read: http://auto.howstuffworks.com/bugatti.htm)

mille162, the doors on the Koenigsegg are very cool indeed, but really not practical

BTW: what is it that you like so much about the McLaren exhaust?

Practicallity is relative

Besides sounding amazing (although that's more the engine and exhaust combo), the McLaren exhaust is a piece of art. I'm a huge fan of the entire project, and one of the documentaries I saw on the car spent a few minutes on the system in detail. The pipes are made of Inconel, the silencers out of Titanium, and the whole system doubles as a crush zone in an accident...I think the replacement cost is around $35,000.
