Doug, I'm amazed that it took a week to have a piece of shit troll me when this site now blows... Unfucken believable.... LOL I'm so amazing that someone created a profile just for ME.... Hahahaha

I thought of coming back to try and liven up things and maybe bring a few of the old crew back but I see that too many Blue Ball Boys still treat this place like a waste of time... no wonder nobody comes here anymore. I was speaking to our local Ferrari Club members and NOBODY comes here.

I think some of the new kids need to go play outside with their skateboards or their iPhone running after Pokémon instead of bothering the adults...LOL

CGT miss was painful I thought for sure you were grabbing one - top notch car not sure where they are headed they have dipped down recently. All the clutch stuff is nonsense it's the most rewarding car I have ever driven.

If you get bored love to see the Mclaren group photo.
I will try to get a Mac group shot this weekend.

I have heard the rumor on the 3 seat McLaren. Dont think it is true though.

On the CGT, I am waiting to see where prices head. I have had 2 cars offered to me recently that originally had asks of $700k for $625k.

I had to when we moved from the UK to the US. Could not bring it with me as it was a Euro Spec car.

I'm trying to get my hands on a 360 Modena with manual gearbox. Problem is that there are only four manual Modenas in Brazil, so a hard catch... Of those four, two have had pretty bad crashes (cars are still out there but not a good history). Good thing is that one of the two that have clean history belongs to a friend of mine, so let's see how much of a friend is he! Hahahahaha

Nice choice yes....

I'm thinking if upgrading but I'm not sure if I should go 360 or 430. Everyone I know is saying go for the 430 it's, newer but newer isn't always better... so I'm still not sure.

Critical for me is the gated shifter, I want to have a manual gearbox!

F430 is nice but there aren't any manual F430s in Brazil, so not an option for me right now.

In fact, manual F430s AFAIK are pretty rare around the world. If you can put your hands in one, them I have to say: GO FOR IT!!!!!!

But you already have the experience of a manual Ferrari, so maybe a change for the modern world is more interesting to you than it is to me right now.

Seems like maintenance in the F1 gearbox is more frequent and expensive, but I guess a good look in the buyer's guide should shine a light on that subject

I'm not sure anymore Stiles... I just recently bought (6 months ago) a new 2016 Mercedes Benz, E63 AMGs. And I have to tell you, this thing is crazy fast with specs that are crazier than my uncles 430 Scuderia and its a 4 door AWD sedan. Even my uncle said wow, nice car, don't kill yourself. I'm getting used to playing with the paddles but I don't use them all the time in my Benz. So again, I'm still on the fence for a gated shifter.

We faced the same dilemma. After spending an afternoon with each of them we went for a manual 360 Spider. The 430 was a very fine car, and on paper represented a better buy. However, we much prefer the interior of the 360, it's softer exterior lines, and didn't notice the power difference in normal driving. In the end, the 360 "spoke" to us and the 430 didn't. Six years on, I'm glad we choose the 360 and would do so again given the same choice.

Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.

The AMG is insane, very fast, but a very different experience compared to the Ferrari. The AMG with flappy paddles makes sense to me, but the Ferrari to me should always be manual - the same for a GT3 Porsche.

Or at least my first Ferrari should be a manual, I guess. But you already ticked that box
