The new series of Top Gear starts on Sunday 22nd June, 8.00 PM on BBC2.

The BBC TV listings say that they will be testing Police cars in the first show

Here are some pics from the internet. I remember seeing pictures of the exact same car at an auto show without its police vinyls/magnets and without its light bar.

Great, they were supposed to test it on the last series, but another journalist crashed it a few days before they were due to have it.

Jonathan, there was also a rumor that they were doing a feature on the evolution of Ferrari in the last series, and were having 5 different models (275GTB, Daytona, 355 GTB plus a couple of others) on the track and in the studio. Do you know if anything came of that?

Actually it was Ferrari GB who crashed it whilst they were preparing the car for filming!

No, I don't know anything about it although there was an episode where they did have a line up like that parked in the studio. Perhaps that was it. Can't remember in what connection though.
