My sister has delivered

After almost nine months of preparation, production and construction, today was finally the day that my sister was not pregnant anymore, but instead a new mother. I haven't seen the new cachew yet, but according to my mom he's gorgeous. I'm waiting for pictures. Tomorrow I'm going to visit her at the hospital. It's a boy and he's just over 3000 grams and 47 cm long so that's all very good. All apendages are present and he started screaming as soon as he was out. Kid was deliverd by C-section by the way since it's a true nephew of mine and was upside-down (or right side up, depends on point of view) so he's difficult from the start. I'm very proud.

Updates and pictures will follow

Congrats to your sister first of all, and congrats to Uncle Basosz too.

Having two of my own kids and 11 nephews and nieces, I can recommend them. Kids bring you enormous amounts of pleasure (and financial pain), but when the world around you is turning out $h1tty, a smile and a hug from your kids takes it all away, and makes you realise that there are more important things in life.

I was afraid of that

And although I'm not looking forward to having kids myself anytime soon (I'd be a lousy father), I can understand why some people would want them. The one my sister made is indeed gorgeous.

I always said that until I discovered I was going to be a dad. It's easier than you think, and worth every minute.

Thanks again guys

In about an hour I'm going to the hospital to look the little one (and my sis of course ) up again. I'm taking all your wishes with me (aka I'm gonna print this stuff) for her to read. I'm absolutely sure she'll appreciate it !!!

I'm gonna post more pictures tonight. Little Tim (his name) is way gorgeous baby !!!!

Thanx
