I just came across this, pretty cool website for micro-loans. Very cool idea.

It does look interesting Andrew, have you tried it? If you pick one that you would like Ferrari Life to sponsor I'll throw in a little.

Pete,

Yes I have tried it. A friend is challenging all his friends (me included) to sponsor 1,000 loans in 1,000 days so I had to step up to the plate.

I like the idea of having FL do some sponsoring. Not a bad idea. My friend did micro loans in Argentina and tells me they had a major impact.

Don't know when I'll be in SF again, that was my old company that sent me there. My new company is sending me to Singapore, Brunei and Malaysia. So those are the regions I am interested in. If you want to do a FL sponsorship for these micro-loans, I'd prefer it be in that neck of the woods.

Pete,

I did a few micro loans to Cambodia. I'll see what else is out there in that area.

This is a very interesting concept, I don't believe I had ever heard of it before.

I know of someone that is an ardent supporter of this group. He's a Swiss business man and generally lends money to small businesses in Africa. He has told me this is far better than just donating money to an aid group as this way the money really does get to those who can do positive things with it.

Best Regards,
