Would you buy this Ferrari

I was browsing through eBay when I can upon this poor 355. Its about $40K now and people are still bidding.
This example of a car is poor, no pictures of the engine compartment, I can imagine the condition based on its exterior. Note one of the right rear outer exhaust tips seems to be missing

Oh my, that poor Ferrari is back on Ebay That was on their a while ago.....all that repair at the dealer is going to make up for the price which is way way to high for this condition. After getting the car in perfect line it is going to cost as much as a perfect condition F355 except for this one will still have the Salvage title.....

I hope that no one falls into this trap and buys it....I hope everyone runs away screaming until this car is properly repaired....

Bottom line to the question:
NO!

Pity the fellas paying over $40K for it. Bodywork alone including replacement and paint would be around $20K. With a car in that condition, imagine the engine work that has to be done, lets say another $15K tops. Ok thats not counting the headaches and time. At $75K you can fine a decent spider or ever at a lower price than that.

I actually would buy it, but not over $29K considering the time, money and work I am gonna have to get it to a 90 point condition.

25k sounds about right....I would be terrified to find out what is wrong in the engine...

I would easily buy it if I had the money and if I could get it in Brazil for that price
