Another new sailboat - a bigger one.

Yeah I know, I'm up to 3 sailboats now. This one is a '62 Sparkman & Stevens "New Horizons" model. 26' LOA, inboard gas engine, sleeps 4, head, galley (icebox and stove), roller furling jib, VHF, GPS, Autopilot, matching dingy that hangs off davits on the stern, etc. Before you say "What an ugly color.", I'm planning on painting it dark blue.

This boat is going to be kept in the water, I've already arranged for a mooring in Saco, Maine.

So now I've got 2 smaller boats to get rid of.

Pete, Congratulations. Come to think of it, you now have more boats than I have Boxers. Maybe it is time to go looking for another one......

At least this boat is big enough to do it in. But rather than sail it to Brazil, how about if you find yourself in the Northeast USA you call me up and I'll take you out for a sail? (and a Ferrari ride, of course :green: ).

Don't jump too quick there Boxer, I'm selling 2 of them. The only reason I've got so many right now is all these deals just happen to fall in my lap. It was owned by a co-worker of my wife's who had open-heart surgery last year and can't sail anymore. He sold it to us for substantially less than what it's worth.

If you find yourself up in my neck of the woods, contact me and we'll get together. Where the boat is going to be kept is about a half-hour from Portland, an hour from Boston.

hm, I would still keep the smallest one for some serious fun, and the biggest one for the long weekends

My absolute first reaction was:

Two isn't enough?

And I quite like the color really. Babyblue looks good on anything

Thanx for the offer. I'll keep it in mind when I'm ever nearby. I love sailing. Not so much on the ferrari thing though :P

I was thinking that myself. Keep the smaller one to trailer up to the lake.
I'm pretty sure I've already got the Victoria (boat #2) sold.

I will be in Connecticut this summer for a few days so I may try to take you up on the offer.

Cool! Saco, Maine is about 3 1/2 hours from Hartford. Right now my work schedule is showing me home for 7/1-7/20 and 8/11-8/31. And when I'm home I don't work so it doesn't matter to me whether its a weekend or a weekday. That'd be great if we could hook up.

Last year the ferrari challenge held one of the races in connecticut around mid July. I was hoping for something similar this season, but no good. The Ferrari Hartford Concorso is going to be held June 21st to benefit the Connecticut Childrens Medical Center. Im hoping to go to that, but we will see. Ive heard its a cool event. Thought I would let you know if you're going to be in the area.

Yeah, any woman who is easily frustrated would not last too long with me. She's a "keeper". :green: :green:
