Working on the Jeepster

Started it up the other day. the whole thing was a ball of ice, including the battery. Brought the battery inside to thaw out and charged it up. Got the Commando running and it had a transmission oil leak. One of the pipes to the cooler had rusted through. Had to change the line. This picture is why I need a heated garage with a lift before my wife gets a new kitchen.

That picture reminds me why I do all my maintenance at my friend's garage. Ramps, heat, light - I'm getting too old for lying under cars.

Hear, hear! I'm 41 years old and I'm still working on cars in the snowbank like I was when I was 21. What is wrong with this picture? Screw the kitchen. It's got a stove, fridge, microwave and countertop, it's fine. I need a shop!
