Learing to speak Italian

Is there anybody here that has taken Italian on as thier second or third language?

I really want to know how easy and quick it is to learn, I love Italy and want to spend alot of time there in the future so learning the lingo is a must.

Cheers, Steve

Depends on how much time you have to spend on it, its pretty easy to learn IMO

If you were exposed to it during childhood (or Spanish for that matter) it shouldn't be a problem

I think it depends on how quick you are with learning new languages, and how much time you have to spend on it.

I have plenty of time and its something I feel I need to do, so all should be good.

Botto which language did you pick up first? Spanish is another I wouldnt mind learning as one of my favorite artists Rap's in Spanish (favorite and cant understand it - dont ask)
