My new Fire Truck.

I stopped by the Town Fire Station to ask a question about burning permits. One of the volunteers was sweeping up the garage and she was like, "have you seen our new truck yet?" I'm like, "Is that the one I just bought?" She's like, "Well, yeah, we did get a grant from the State but yeah, you did help buy it."

So here's a pic of me in my new Fire Truck!

the guy in the first picture is you??

I like fire trucks, I have an uncle that was a fireman (he is retired now), so I got some nice rides when I was younger

you know that the Brazilian Fire Depo. is the best in the world, right?

more specific, the Fire Depo of my city!!

they have won many times the "Fire Olympics" (I donīt know the name in English, it is the competition among firemen from all over the world)

Yeah, that's me. And I did not know the Brazilian's were olympic class firefighters. It kind of makes sense though, you have the largest forest in the world and I guess there's a reason why you stopped making houses out of wood?

When I lived in South Portland, Maine, years ago the fire dept there was jokingly refered to as the "South Portland Cellar Savers".

I kind of got the VIP treatment at the Durham fire dept., they were trying to get me to sign up. I'm thinking about it, I might volunteer a few days a month. Only if I get to drive the new truck and blow the siren!

Slight mix up I guess. :green:
In addition to my town of Durham in Maine and yours in North Carolina, the town of Durham also exists in New Hampshire, New York, Connecticut, Arkansas, California, Kansas, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas and Pennsylvania

There's also Durham, Ontario in Canada. All named after the County Durham in England.

Too many Durham's I'd say. Kind of like Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway's. We literally have 1 in every major city here. It gets so confusing sometimes when you are telling someone directions and you have to put them on MLK Parkway.
