Hollywood Haunt

Yesterday, my wife and I drove to Hollywood for the Ferrari Hollywood Haunt. The first stop was at the Hollywood Cemetery. When we arrived, there were many beautiful cars. The drivers and passengers were milling around. After the last cat arrived totally about 30, we drove to the large mausoleum for a group photo.

We then were on a caravan through the Hollywood Hills before ending at the Roosevelt Hotel for the party. One cannot have a 30-car caravan during the early evening hours in Los Angeles. I was in a group of five cars. I was last following a blue 308. As I was waiting to turn onto Sunset Blvd. last night behind 4 other Ferraris, I could hear someone yelling my name. Looking left to the sidewalk, there was Ernie. He is a fellow F-Chatter. After telling him what I was doing (Halloween Haunt), off I went.

Going east on Mulholland Drive at night is fun. I thought it was a one-way road but later found out it is two way. Oh, nice. At the top we stopped. A guy got out and ask all of us top honk as we passed a house. We all honked our manly Ferrari horn as we passed. Later I asked the man why we honked. He said, “I was visiting my friend yesterday and told him we would honk as we went by. Someone else ask who he was. The guy said it was Quentin Tarantino. My wife explained to me who he is.

Finally, we got to the hotel, parked, eat a fine meal, dance, drink, and finally went to bed.

Great Time.

A photo for my decorated 550 will be posted as soon as it is e-mail to me.

Almost all of his movies are very, very good. Four rooms is not exactly directed by him. It's a movie about a bellboy who visits 4 rooms at his first night, and 4 directors each directed one room. Hilarious movie that's for sure
