I believe it is German and powered by a BMW engine. Can't remember the brand but think it starts with a "W".

It isn't a Spyker, and I believe Spyker's are Belgian. Here is a photo:

Wiesmann Roadster. I once saw one when I went to school on the side of the street, little waterdrops on it from the night, and the sun was rising just above the horizon. Perfect light...
choices... go to school, or go back to get my camera.... I was a good student like people here tell me to be, I got a lesson which was completely useless. Damn I still hate the teacher for that

And Spijker's are Dutch! 8)

It was featured on a Top Gear segment last year. Report was pretty positive. I guess it is being positioned as the German answer to Morgan.

Wiesmann is pretty cool.

And Spijker is indeed dutch. It was one of the, if not THE first dutch car manufacturers. The new Spijkers are a reincarnation of the old brand name. but the original is really really old

Here is the link to the other cars manufacture for those wondering:

http://www.wiesmann-auto-sport.de/ewirstart.html

There is a Spijker importer here in San Francisco but I'm not sure how many they bring it a year. How many of these cars do they produce a year?

I have no idea. But I don't think that a lot because a lot of that car is hand made and it's still a small company. I do, however remember something about Spyker wanting to expand so they can deliver more cars a year. They are even talking about making a small profit from this year on. Since it's a relatively new company (albeit with a very old name) they started with a loss a few years back but the cars are very much in demand so they can make a profit.

http://www.spykercars.nl/ is the website. There is some history as well. And it's in english so read on McDuff
