Halloween is Approaching ... Ferrari?!

As with all my dailiy activities I like to include ferraris in any way shape or form, so when I decided to carve pumpkins I had to get a little creative.

My girlfriend had never carved pumpkins so we bought two each for the experience (im a veteran mind you, having done at leat 21 of them).

Check out my blog to see the pics (no need to upload them in more than one place).

Very nice and very cool.

BTW, tuff week for college football. I can feel your pain as my team didn't win either.

very cool pumpkins!!!

I helped carving one in 1999, when I was there in the USA during Halloween time

FunkyJunc, do you study at Penn State?? They lost??

I love Penn State, also went to a game when I was there (also, they lost the game I went to )

Also love the Steelers and football in general, too bad that we donīt have it here in Brazil!

I do study at Penn State.

And yes ... The Nittany Lions lost ... We were 6-0 (3-0 in conference) just coming off an emotional win over Ohio State (#6 Big Ten, we were #16) and we under estimated the Michigan Wolverines! They won the game in the last second on the clock ... literally!! It was very dissapointing. The nittany Lions are now 6-1 and we're #12 in the country (according to the AP poll). Any case, it should prove to be an exciting year!

Next time you're up in State College PA you will have to let me know. We always have a good time!

yes, I heard about the victory over Ohio State!!

you see, a family that lives in Pittsburgh is friends with my family

I went to their house in 1999 - 2000, because I had just finished my English course, an stayed there for 3 months, living in their house, going to Pine Richland Middle School

their youngest daughter, Amy Baylor, is now studying at Penn State (I know it is kind of hard, but maybe you know her!? :green: )

their son also studied there, but he already graduated!

Penn State is, as far as I got to know, an amazing college!! I loved the day I went there with the Baylors to visit Eric (their son) and watched the game

the bad news is that I donīt plann to visit them anytime soon... my parents will not pay for another trip, and I wonīt have money before I finish college... so, until 2008, I guess I will not visit you

College football is the greatest sport (in my book that is). Had my team won I would say they would have a good shot at the BCS, but there is always next year. One thing is for sure, they are back!

I am just hoping for a bowl game win, that hasn't happened in 10 years and they embarrased themselve in the Fiesta Bowl when I was a student.

One of my friends here went to Penn St. undergrad, he was also disappointed.

I am thinking of putting some teeth on my smiling Ferrari for Halloween. I will be driving it to a party. It might be nice to have the teeth on it for the drive.

My daughter who has craved pumpkins before will be seeing that one of the prancing horse. Hopefully, she will do one like that.

After reading your blog, remember this: If the lottery paid out is higher than the odds, it is a good bet even with the long odds.

Also, do not put yourself down. You can make that much money if you want. All you have to do is try. If yoy do not try, when you will have no change.

I agree with the whole odds thing. I think the most important thing for me isnt necessarliy having ALL that money, its the prospect of missing an opportunity. Optimism only gets you so far, without action you'll be stuck dreaming. Now all I need is a more productive and fruitfull hobby! All mine now use money, none of them make it!

Thanks for the words bart.

Andrew, who is your College team?
