A happy day !

After 2 miscarriages, my wife and I went for an ultrasound and found out we have a healthy baby girl on the way  In 4 1/2 months I will be a father for the first time. We decided to call her Claudia.

Im 32 and 10 years ago seems not too long ago and yet so far away. I entered college and got a good job, next thing I know I was buying a house them met my wife and now we are having a baby girl. Im happy as most parents to be but more for my wife because it was hard for her to lose a child 3 months into her pregnancy…twice.

My Ferrari goal is getting much closer than I think. My wife is also anxious for me to find my Ferrari dream car and to see me accomplish another of my dreams on my wish list. :green: :green: :green:

She once asked me why I called them dreams and not goals. A goal is what makes you get up every morning and do the job you love to do. A dream is something out of your current reach but if you make the proper goals, anything is possible.

Thanks FunkyJunc

The Ferrari F2 Grand Prix type Racers are pedal cars. Some of the guys at work were talking about toys we had as children and I remembered having a pedal car as a child and wondered if they still made them so I looked on the Net and found the Ferrari.

They even have a full chrome one as well.

She is getting one of each, the Enzo and what color should I get for the pedal car ?

let me tell you a story... I´ve been an auto enthusiast since I was very little, I always loved to race in karts and stuff like that

when I was little, my dream was to have a pedal car... didn´t even have to be a "sofisticated" model, like the ones you posted!! just a simple one, you know??

my parents never gave me a pedal car

I´m happy to know your daughter is not going to have the same experience!!!

Congratulations Magnum6464, make the most of the days before she is asking to borrow the keys of the real Ferrari.
I had a MG pedal car when I was a kid and my boys had an electric jeep. Great memories.

Thanks Marlin, it nice to read this from you guys

Funny....My wife was saying the same thing...she said if she's feisty like her and has my attitude that im to bring the Ferrari keys with me and lock the garage...lol

I was a few years old, 3-4 maybe, it's one of my few memories as a child but I remember feeling so proud to drive that car. It was a special feeling and I just hope that my daughter feels the sames...

I was not spoiled as a child, but had a father who loved his fast cars.

The F2 car HAS TO be red. Thats the only color they were!!! It wouldnt be a ferrari color if it werent red!!!!

The Enzo, on the other hand, I think should be yellow or Red. Maybe Silver. If its black the grille and other details will get lost, and thats no good. Still very cool!

My sister had a pink barbi battery powered car when she was little. I never had any of that. I was always content with my 'Big wheel'!! I dont know if thats the standard convention for those bikes, but they have one LARGE wheel and the front and 2 in the rear. Anycase, I can clearly remember terrorizing the neighborhood with my brother. Im sure your daughter will be much like my sister ... classy and smug in her car!

Congratulations on the upcoming baby!

And thanks for the Big Wheel picture. I had one of those when I was a kid.
