Quite the snow "blower". Another couple feet to clear over the next 24hrs and our mailbox is long gone from the last event. Maybe the neighbor that finds it will pay the bills - this does suck for commerce this year

Yes, but it has evolved into a jeti. At least my head and feet are warm, just like mother taught me! Also, with the after burner on, the heat produced is enough to stay warm.

It's all a matter of perspective. Seeing all of that snow is so cooling. We're in trouble here! Don't know whether to stay inside with the aircon or float in the pool with a beer.

The days are too long, sun up too early and doesn't get dark until late.

By time everyone's gone home it's 11pm on a Tuesday!

Too morrow is going to be 36C. Yuck.

Poor Mrs 16M cooling her feet in preparation for tomorrow's onslaught.

Oh, David, your description makes me long for Oz!

It's only a little more than a week now and I'm off to three weeks in Manly. When I'm back, spring will be fully bursting in Ticino and the salt will have washed away.

My Corniche is now ready from its surprise smaller restoration I had to do after the "real" restoration. It has never been in better shape and I can't wait to smoothly glide around in it again on its new Avon Speedmasters. The suspension has been upgraded eliminating the roll and together with the Avons, the ride is precise yet smooth. So many exquisite improvements have been done, I really long to driving it again.

The Dino is in good shape, just needs a new rear bushing and an oil change. It might get an upgraded ignition for next year. I thought the 308 would be recommissioned this year but the Corniche blew a hole in the car budget. The Fiat Giardiniera will get its new high performance engine in March. A tripleing of the hp is just what the doctor ordered and it will make it shoot up the hills. The original engine is next to done. The other cars have had, or will have their services done shortly. My old 1949 Harley Pan Head is also soon back on the road after an engine take down, repairing some minor damage from an oil shortage. The old Triumph T100C is also just about ready to be broken in after a full resto. My dirt bikes have undergone major tuning for this season, with the addition of the new electric KTM!

Roll on, new season!!

Capo, I'm giving serious consideration to applying for the position of Capo di Servizio del Garage Capolino it reads like full-time employment;

in second thought when would I drive my cars?

Feel bad about saying this, but we tied our record high yesterday at 70 F/21 C. Have to admit one February a few years back, we had a -17 F/-27 C, so no telling in the high desert.

You guys where the toilets flush the wrong way around are cheating.

Exactly, you can come and see me and vice versa, but we must be responsible enough to create work for others to maintain our cars!

Ed:
I will gladly help the poor woman in Boston. My snow plough also has a huge ramming pole in the front, which she might find interesting!

Warm Australia will do me good for three weeks. My sisters's 50th and lots of fun, relax, good food, enjoying my sister's girlfriends' daughters, etc.
