A Man and His Ferrari

I have a cell phone like most of you. My number has not change since 1985. Hey, I have had my number for a twenty-year anniversary! When I was in sales, the phone was on and published. Now that I buy services, I leave it off. Until I wish to use the thing, it is but a useless weight.

Everyone tells me I should have my cellular telephone on. If I did, many people could call me. Spam. I received my Maranello because I use my time wisely. If I call you, I want to make money. If you call me, you want me to spend money. I like it when cash flows to me. When I make money, the people around me like this fact.

Called me and I will answer, if you have the correct number but not my cell. Hard lines are very good. They do not move. When I have a hard line, which is most of my time, sometimes a sales agent hits me correctly at the opportune time. I have just finished my second day of a commercial in the bay area. Bonzi!

Many ask why I drive a Maranello.

just one thing: how old are you, Bart??

IMHO old fashion cooper phone lines will soon be a thing of the past. Next time I move, I expect to have a single fiber optic line installed in my house which will carry phone, data/internet, and TV.

There is actually a better technology than Fiber Optic. The problem is billions of dollars were spent on R&D so those companies (the big telecom) are trying to kill it (sounds like the Tucker automobile). What is the technology? Broadband over the power lines [BPL] (old fashioned copper). It is great for nations which don't have fiber optic but have power grids. The key players:

www.igateinc.com (makers of the modem)
http://www.gridlinecommunications.com/ (establishing ISPs)

Yeah. And it's a reasonable question. Why not drive a ferrari that is older than 30 years? Because they haven't built a nice looking car in that long a time.

Classic cars 4 teh win
