Do Corvette taillights fit a 360 Modena?

Reportedly, the driver was texting while driving. His head was found behind the seat with his cellphone. Texting and driving can be fatal. <--- update, he was not texting as reported.

Nothing funny about this.

I hope the driver rests in peace and that his family finds comfort.

yeah. also notice the rear wheel appears is completely undamaged even thought the back bumper of the truck is behind and several inches below it. Also notice that back of the truck appears completely undamaged even though the little bumper is really not very strong and they are banged up and bend on 1/2 the trucks you see on the road. I'm thinking photoshop until the original source of the pic is confirmed.

Its odd that the car and truck have come to rest on the right side of the break down lane. I would assume based on the remains of the corvette that this is the point of impact. And the force appears to be severe enough to have been the result of considerable speed. Was the driver speeding in the break down lane while texting?

Enjoy the journey so much you don't care how long it takes to get there.

I would never have believed the pic was real...wow, he must have have been moving at quite a place at the time of impact....and on the shoulder??? strange.

No matter, hopefully his family and freinds have found peace in the years since his death.

Yes, very sad and if you look closely, no skid marks whatsoever. I suspect the truck was pulled over and at a stop when the Corvette ran into the truck. I suspect he died instantly and didn't suffer.

RIP.
