Rice Time!!!

One of those situations where you wish you had a camera. Well I did have a camera! Stopped at the grocery store and saw these 2 ricers sitting out front. One of them is a 4-door Ford Focus with a huge wing on the back and I have no idea what the other car is (he removed the badges, very chic. I think it might be a Subaru?). I asked if I could take a few pictures and they were flattered that I thought thier cars were way cool. Oh yeah man, I wish I had a souped-up, 4-door economy car!

In pic 35 you can see my black pickup truck in the background. You wouldn't know it, but that truck has a Banks power kit installed. Hmm, maybe I should have gone for the wing instead of the high-flow exhaust and modified turbo waste-gate actuator?

The other day I saw a ricer Honda Civic. It had a sticker in the back that said "Powered by Honda". I was like, "Well no shit, it's a Civic. I guess he didn't want me to think he'd dropped a small block Chevy V-8 in it. Glad he had the sticker to clarify that."
I can see him slapping the hood and saying, "Oh yeah, this baby's gotta Honda engine in it."

They should have taken a picture of you laughing at it and then post it on www.laughatrice.com.

Although I don't like ricers at all, I sort of like the paintwork on that Honda, If it is paint, and not a sticker... Not that I would like it on a normal streetcar, but if that is a paintjob I think it is nicely done.

I think ricecars are good in that they get young kids interested and involved in cars and thus less likely to get mixed up in drugs and other mischiefs available to them 8)

I also believe that some of them would probably become F-car owners later on

I would like to see what the people who post at laughatricers.com have for there cars. Probably not any better than some of the cars on the site.

I agree with Jungathart, although somepeople might not like RICERS, you have to give it to someone who is dedicated to making something different. Not everyone can afford a sports car, or a ferrari. Its all in personal opinion of what they like. Either domestic, european or Japanese...if you like you like it.
