Footage of Bianchi Crash

It's a miracle he is alive at all. They say the impact was over 50g and you can see where his helmet hits the crane in the video. This is the scariest thing to happen in F1 while I've been a fan. I was literally in tears when it happened. I'm sure anybody who was watching the race will attest to how terrifying it was. I've been praying for his recovery. He underwent head surgery and is in the ICU.

I also watched it Nathan and I share your sentiments. This should not have happened.

Shocking. Looking at how much it moved the Jcb.
I hope he pulls through.

I share your sentiments, it is very disturbing and tough to watch for me as well Nathan. I'll say a prayer for him, his family and the unfortunate corner workers who had to witness this terrible accident.

During every F1 race these drivers risk their lives to entertain us with the best auto racing on the planet, and this had to happen :-(

It also reminds me that it is time for me to pray for Michael Schumacher's recovery as well.

weird thing about this is I totally missed it. Didn't find out about it till monday!. I download the show and there were so many delays, i started skipping through. When they threw the red flag, the commentator's didn't know why and I thought it was rain so i skipped through until they were racing again. Missed the whole thing!

Ed, NBC's coverage isn't too bad. Occasionally they will interrupt the commercials to show a race!

Here's an interview with Jules in Hungary. Saying hello to the crew says a lot about his character. A true gentleman and a very talented driver!

Video not available in my country. Lousy NBC people. It is such a tragedy for his normal / usual life to stop in a blink of an eye.

Garage
It wasn't available here either and I was upset just because we never saw what happened. I am stunned that did not kill him.

He and his family will be in our prayers. That reminded me of the Senna Crash when I just watched it thinking....he has to be dead, but I know he is still alive so it was a weird feeling.

That sucks for all involved. I hope and pray he recovers, but as I type this it is unlikely he will ever race in F1 again.

We are gonna start getting the "schumacher" updates now. I hate to say it, but jules probably has massive brain injuries that aren't going to heal.
