Pistol Crossbow

Rick and I went to a tool sale and one of the things they had there was these pistol crossbows. On a whim, Rick and I each bought one. They were only $20. Not very accurate but pretty fun nonetheless.

Don't worry Dirk, I'm not the stalker type. (but the image of creeping around with a silent weapon does appeal to me).

The crossbow came with a paper taget that we taped to the styrofoam that the crossbow was packed in and set that up against a little piece of plywood on a ladder in the driveway. We had good fun shooting at that. My wife tried it and on her first shot she missed the target entirely and hit my other garage which is about 70 feet away. She came about a foot from the window. I showed her how to use the sights and she did much better after that.

I too was suprised to see the crossbow at a tool sale. I bought a 10" Ryobi compound miter saw, a set of long needle nose pliers and threw in the crossbow on a whim.

Well, its dark out now, I think I am going to go set up my target and put on my black coveralls and balaclava. Where do you live again?
