Hehehehe...Ford GT Recalled!!

For real dudes...check it out...

http://www.blueovalnews.com/2004/rec...gt.19dec04.htm

Ford Tells 2005 GT Owners "Not To Drive Their Vehicle Under Any Circumstances."

I would be furious if I had dropped that kind of green for a car I can't drive.

Do you think God stays in Heaven because she is afraid of what she sees down here?

Owner and Operator of a 2000 Jeep Wrangler. A few mods here and there... but just you wait and see what I have in store for her...

ouchs, that's gotta hurt
and then this line: Replacement parts should be available to dealers by 01 February 2005.

that means more then a month waiting, and then waiting TILL it's repaired

Interesting. If I had a GT, I would be furious. The worst part is being told to take the car off the road for a month while they sort out a fix.

Can you believe the way they put this ...

"Ford has identified a quality issue with the suspension control arms on the affected vehicles which may adversely affect vehicle handling in the event of a control arm fracture. In the event a customer does not seek service for the diminished handling concern, a crash potentially could occur."

How about : "Due to poor quality control, one or more control arms on your car may break. If one does, you're gonna crash."

Surely there's no "potentiality" about it!

Unfortunately truth in recall notices is about as common as truth in airline flight delay announcements (we expect a 15 minute delay...... which we will extend 6 times over the next couple of hours....)
