New arrival - next April...

Nope - I'm afraid it's not a new Enzo!!

In fact - it's not the pitter patter of tiny wheels at all - but feet!!!

My lovely wife is pregnant!! Which to be honest - is about time - as we're not getting any younger. Between the two of us we have 3 cars, 1 motorcycle, 3 fish and a rabbit. It's about time we started a family!!!

I'm not convinced my car will survive the experience - but we'll have to see!! If it has to go, so be it - there'll be another car another time.

In the meantime - anyone know of anywhere I can get a Ferrari baby seat? :green:

Congrats Bazil

so who's winning the fight about the baby naming?
trying to get Enzo in there?

and what do you mean no family? you already have a family, since when do the fish, the rabbit and your little redhead don't count anymore?
consider the baby as an extension of your family :green:

and if its a boy or a girl, whatever you do or whatever your wife is complaining about, make sure that you raise the baby good, SO MAKE SURE THAT HE/SHE BECOMES A FERRARI FANATIC

Well done Bazil

Actually, Ferraris go perfectly with having babies! When you're up in the middle of the night feeding. burping, changing, etc, etc that's the ideal time to then go out for a burn. Hell, if you've been woken up you might as well wake up the rest of the neighbourhood as well, eh? Smoke those little county lanes Baz!

I'm also betting that li'l Baz (= Bazil or Bazina  ) will be told endlessly :
"No fast cars"
"No motorbikes"
"No wasting time on websites", etc, etc, etc when growing up! :green: :green:

Best of luck to both of you with the gestation!

Congrats Buddy!! Kids are so much fun even though they are a ton of work.

And hey...the Ferrari will be perfect for those late night cravings the wife will get. Jump in...smoke the roads to get the stuff and get home before she knows it!

Do you think God stays in Heaven because she is afraid of what she sees down here?

Congrats!!!!!!

If I remember correctly one remedy for a baby that can't sleep is to take it for a drive. The interior sound is supposed to be very similar to what a baby experiences in the womb. So, that purr of your V8 should do the trick. Unless youíre wifeís womb isnít that noisy. Best bet is to start motoring about with your wife every chance you get. At high revs. So you can get as much of that wonderful sound to your prodigy.

Ahhhhh ! Youíre going to have prodigy.

Thanks for all the replies guys - appreciate it!!

I'm still in the "have to tell everyone" phase at the moment!!!

To answer the questions...

I'm winning the fight about baby names - although my wife has said no to some of the Ferrari related ones!!!

And I'm looking for a baby seat for the 348 - if I've learnt anything in the past few weeks - it's NOT to suggest upgrading the car at the moment!!!

I could have sworn I'd seen a childs/baby seat make by Sparco a year or so ago in the Demon Tweeks catalog. Give them a call. If anyone would have it they would!

Oh by the way... please don't indoctrinate him (or her) like they do with church kids OK ?? So no ferrari's until he (or she) is 18 and can make his (or her) own decisions. Let's hope that cooler heads will prevail and he (or she) will choose Lamborghini

Congrats,
and I'll second Dirk, if it's a boy: Enzo sounds not so bad. I've tried it with my first boy and I think I'll keep it that way.
