Off topic but do you still have the 308 Vitaelotti?
All driving time has been spent in the Dino though. It's a drug.
Just finishing a long part resto of my Corniche, taking delivery in a week and driving Sweden-Spain.
Also rebuilding one of my G-Wagens. Then, next project is to get the 308 Stradale on Swiss plates, short gear ratio, short lock to lock steering ratio, rally brakes and suspension.
After that, my Phantom V resto recommences and proceeds until finished.
Next step in a few years might be a carbed 308 GTS. Step by step though. I'm getting more and more into the Dino and 308 department and quite happily so. They are indeed magic little cars.
First I will enjoy a long journey in my freshened up Corniche. It's taken a year and a half to finish and I've come to realise how much I've missed that charming rolling Chesterfield armchair. I can strongly recommend a mint classic Roller as a contrast to your Ferraris.
Right now my cash flow is low, otherwise I would have had all projects going simultaneously. The upside is that I get plenty of time to enjoy each project more.
As always, my classic sailing boat gets first priority when cash flow is an issue. Last season's recommissioning costs were devastating. It makes the car hobby look like a bargain. I've just decided to base the boat in the Adriatic in a few years. I need two to four years to sail goodbye to Scandinavia then new adventures await in the Adriatic.
With patience, hard work and some cash planning, it will all happen. Life is great!
