Have: Left H. Drive BMW - Want: Right H. Drive

If any of you have a right hand drive car and need a left hand drive car, perhaps we can make a trade?

I have a manual 2003 BMW 530i, ca 50.000 km, black metallic, black leather, fully specced with the über-powerful Harman Kardon sound system. I'd be happy to trade for something similar with right hand drive.

Salve,
Capo

Don't have what you want Capo, but are you planning to do some prolonged driving on the left?

Ferrari's: 360 Modena, 550 Maranello
Ex's: Dino 308 GT4, 612 Scaglietti
The Rest: Rolls Royce Silver Shadow, Porsche 911 2.7s, Porsche 911 3.2 Carerra, Ducati 916... and the Land Rovers

Driving a right hooker gives you a better view of the girls on the pavement.

Actually, if I trade the Bimmer for something similar with right hand drive I can send that car to my sister in Sydney. If she doesn't use it much her three boys might need it to scoot around town.

If there's no plan I'll trade it for a pickup here in Switzerland cause I can always find a need for a pickup.

Absolutely!

All driving time has been spent in the Dino though. It's a drug.

Just finishing a long part resto of my Corniche, taking delivery in a week and driving Sweden-Spain.

Also rebuilding one of my G-Wagens. Then, next project is to get the 308 Stradale on Swiss plates, short gear ratio, short lock to lock steering ratio, rally brakes and suspension.

After that, my Phantom V resto recommences and proceeds until finished.

Next step in a few years might be a carbed 308 GTS. Step by step though. I'm getting more and more into the Dino and 308 department and quite happily so. They are indeed magic little cars.

First I will enjoy a long journey in my freshened up Corniche. It's taken a year and a half to finish and I've come to realise how much I've missed that charming rolling Chesterfield armchair. I can strongly recommend a mint classic Roller as a contrast to your Ferraris.

Right now my cash flow is low, otherwise I would have had all projects going simultaneously. The upside is that I get plenty of time to enjoy each project more.

As always, my classic sailing boat gets first priority when cash flow is an issue. Last season's recommissioning costs were devastating. It makes the car hobby look like a bargain. I've just decided to base the boat in the Adriatic in a few years. I need two to four years to sail goodbye to Scandinavia then new adventures await in the Adriatic.

With patience, hard work and some cash planning, it will all happen. Life is great!
