Stop by the house and I'll show you how a Jerico racing gearbox works. I've got one here apart right now.

Way too much trouble and no one wants to pay to do a good thorough job on them. I just sub those out anymore. Besides I am tired of all the damage to my hands from the sharp edges of the main encabulator stator. By the time it is all reassembled you need a blood donor and intensive care.

Films like it are certainly the target of General Electric’s “turboencabulator” lampoon. http://www.turboencabulator.info/

In the melting pot of experts and idiots that is the internet and in the partisan cesspool that is now called journalism, it is hard to imagine a time when we trusted experts to explain stuff to us. Bud Haggart’s performance (1977) of the GE script laughs at that notion of infallibility.

A video that I can’t quite figure out is this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obTibTvy5_Y Is it for real? It is so over-the-top is seems like a spoof. I can’t find the source.

Or a SWO like me from the Navy, but I still want to put my hands on one that is torn apart to see how my brain can finally absorb it permanantly!

Thanks Ed, cool video.
