Run in with my favorite Ferrari.

So I play tennis at a couple public courts in my neighborhood. Across the street lives a guy with, as far as I know, the only 550 in Calgary. This is partially why I play at those courts only.

I first saw it last summer and have been admiring it every time I go play since then. And aside from the F40 at the Exotic/Imports dealership here, it is the best Ferrari in town that Iíve seen. I rarely see it out on the streets but yesterday as I was walking down the main strip here, I saw it parked across the street from me. I couldnít see the beauty very well at first because there was a white car stopped right beside her and it looked like the people had gotten out to admire, leaving their car in the middle of the road. As I came closer though, I realized the young driver of the white escort had managed to donate some white paint from his car to the driver side of the burgundy 550. My jaw instantly dropped. The damage was all down the entire side I couldnít believe my eyes. This kid was maybe 17 and could tell was pretty freaked out as he stood there waiting for the owner to return, knowing very well what he had just gotten himself into. I kept walking and looked to see if I could see the owner nearby. I saw him maybe 75 feet down at a local Italian Ice cream shop, sitting outside. He had no idea what had just taken place, and seemed so calm while eating his ice cream that it was almost humorous. I figured he must have been inside the shop at the time because it surely would have made quite a noise. I contemplated saying something to him as I walked by but he seemed to be enjoying his Gelato so much that I didnít want to bother him. (Or be the guy with bad news)
Poor guy though, at least it happened at the end of our Ferrari season.

That's really shit for that guy, but lucky for him the kid was waited. This way insurance will repair all damage and the guy will drive the 550 next summer like nothing happend!

And the kid learned an important leason, one he will not forget... ( is the way he must feel)

There are many of those idiots around. Just can't leave other people's properties alone.
