The chorus line shot is of -64D's (Longbow Apache). However, my unit does not have Longbows yet so I'm learning the "A" or "Alpha" model Apache, AH-64A Apache.

So Captain, how do those birds handle compared to a Ferrari? :P

Do you think God stays in Heaven because she is afraid of what she sees down here?

4kids3fish,

LOL. I liked that one. Sorry, this model only comes in olive green. I hope your Mondial is treating you well.

Marcos,

Work is always work but seeing the Apache definitely takes the sting out of it!

Rosso,

Thanks very much!

Rob,

I haven't flown it yet but having flown UH-60s, I hear they are quite similar in flight characteristics; even the same engines and similar "Stability Augmentation System(s)." A big difference between the two (AH-64s and UH-60s) is obviously the pylons, stores and associated parasitic drag. Still, the aircraft has plenty o' power to compensate. The same could be said for a 360 Spyder, huh? 8)

AH-64za,

D

I guess the real question is which would you rather be behind? The stick of a Apache, Blackhawk or the wheel of a Ferrari?

That's awesome Dane!! So you like this better than selling pharmaceuticals?
My sister-in-law was in pharmaceutical sales also until recently. She made the cut and next month she has a job interview with the FBI.

Keep the photos coming!!

Pete,

No offense to pharm reps, but I had no sense of purpose with the job. It was fun learning and talking medicine but at the end of the day, what had I actually done for the good of a patient? I spent more time catering and kissing tail than anything. Not the case anymore. Perhaps, your sis-in-law can relate. I wish her the best in her pursuit of an FBI opportunity. I PM'd you as well. D
