Its not a Ferrari, but I hope it's worthy to look at it.

First of all I have to introduce myself.
I'm Lutz from Germany, I'm 35 years old and I'm a fan of the Scuderia since Niki Lauda's last victories. I also like Jody Scheckter, Jean Alesi, Gerhard Berger, the great Ayrton Senna and Schumi.

I have a special hobby, it's to design fast vehicles. A couple of years ago I did trying to build my own sportscar. Finally it was too difficult to realize it, so it never was done. (...but I was keeping the pictures and sth else...)

I would like to share the pictures with you. I hope you will like it!

You can see the 2000' helicopter at my website:

Welcome Lutz!!

I'm not sure about the helicopter - but the cars are fabulous. You're certainly an excellent artist - and extremely creative. I'd love to see some more of the work you've done.

Very cool 8)

I took some computer animation classes a few years back, I never went anywhere with it but it seems like a very rewarding enterprise

Welcome Lutz, your drawings are fantastic. Your coupe is especially interesting - did you base it around an existing car model? I hope you are putting those skills to good use - do you work in auto design?

Thanks a lot, your question is very interesting, because I did using existing chassis.
For the sportscar I used an Honda/Acura NSX chassis (the measurements). For the BMW Coupe I used a 1979' Corvette base.

Once again, Thanks to Bazil, Pete04222 and Stradale for your welcome!

welcome Lutz,

your drawings are cool, a little bit futuristic though. More like prototypes. Do you have any "production" cars? Not that your models aren't nice, but just interested

Thanks, Dr. Bob!
I wish I had production models! I'm just a hobby designer, not a professional. If I had one I would invite you for a test drive

Can you design a car that will accept a child's rear-facing seat?

I like the helicopter; S-76 heritage in there.

Nice job and thanks for sharing.

Forza,

Dane

A car that accept a child's rear-facing seat? Sure! :green:

The helicopter is a 100% homage to the Sikorsky S-76! I just wondering that someone did notice it at the first look! You did. Hats up to you!

Regarding to the Apache in your Avatar, you must like helicopers and having a good knowledge. If I have time I should making an animation with this heli (it has less polygone data than the cars)

Forza Ferrari!

You really gor talent! I make 3D models of buildings at work, but your skills are sky high above! You should make this your job.

Thank you very much for your compliments!
Your skills must be as same high as mine, because it's your profession to making entire buildings on 3D! I think I have to do a side job with car design some day.

BTW, I like good architects! I just know a few of them. Brazilian Oscar Niemeyer would be my favorite.
