New C7 Corvette Z06

What you guys think?

Pretty good specs. At least 625 hp Supercharged engine and manual transmission still an option which is a good thing.

Looks decent too

Maserati GranTurismo MC - Giallo yellow
Porsche 911 GT3 RS - black with orange accents - wife's car
F355 Berlinetta - Giallo Modena, 6-speed manual, carbon sport seats -recently traded in

Oh you're one of those!

Never understood this Ford vs Chevy rivalry. I appreciate good cars. Doesn't matter what brand it is. Except if it's BMW!

Like it!

Love the Z28 track car - going to wait and see if GM goes all the way like they did with the Z.

i have to add - the Porsche Targa is one of the coolest of all. That retracting roof is insane.

Yeah I have to agree about the 911 Targa. Can't wait to see that in person.

I love it. I see the price is around $85,000. Did someone forget to add a number before the 8. What great value for horses for your dollar! Styling a bit too close to a couple of F12's I have seen on this forum. I'm sure it is going to make a lot of guys happy. That can't be a bad thing.

David.

love the Z06 and the Z28. great cars, good to see America back

as for the 991 targa...a fully automatic roof? why not just get a convertible? lots of expensive crap to break for something that is a silly compromise to start with.

Not sure about the Corvette, but you are spot on with the 911. The Targa never looked good in its previous incarnations and it still doesn't now.

Best wishes, John

IIRC the targa came into existence when everyone thought the US gov't was going to ban convertibles without roll hoops in the late 60's....so it's a 40 year design heritage with no real point. odd.

I love the SA Aperta Barchetta - they are different and fun to watch so seeing the Porsche Targa was just cool tech.

Can't wait to see what the Vette actually puts out - I bet GM is way understating their latest and greatest engines.

Anyone interested in a low mileage, well cared for C5 coupe?! The C7 is growing on us and only room for one vette in the stable.

With the performance and specs I can't see a C7 ZR1 street car in the works, but if GM develops one, wow.

I had thought about putting a deposit down for one. Supercar performance on a budget is never a bad thing.

Fantastic value for money. Shame they don't make it in RHD. Or do they?

Best wishes, John

John- They will be making the C7 in a RHD version, but after all the import taxes, VAT, etc, it will not be such a bargain. Makes me really happy the only tax on car sales in my state, New Mexico, is a 3% excise tax.
