Virginia City Hill Climb question

Does anyone know who I can contact about organizing an event similiar to the Virginia City Hill climb? Is it the local authorities? Any leads would be greatly apprciated.

is that something like when you drive up a hill/mountain with a motorcycle and try to get as high as possible??

No, it's when you close a public road from point A to point B for traffic, and then run your cars at speeds over the speed limit in a timed fashion. You need to get corner workers, ambulance and approval by local authorities.

ah, it's the same as they do at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, right??

sounds fun, so have you done that yourself??

Sorry, I heard of GoodWood(somewhere in teh UK?), but never participated or attended, so I'm not familiar with the format.

Yes it' in the UK
it's one of the biggest and most prestigest events in Europe, and you cannot just participate in it, unless you have a very old expensive classic or supercar.
And also a lot of racers are invited and also race teams like Ferrari, Williams, Jaguar, Toyota.
F1 drivers from this year drive the car from last year, and old races like Sterling Moss
