My Woman

I just do not know. I have been married for 36 years and tonight my woman surprised me. She had a guy for Sears out to our home. Now we are having our kitchen cabinets redone. Why? They open and close and they hold the junk just fine.

My wife says they are ugly but she loved them when we purchased the home. Why spend big money just to change the color from dark brown to light brown?

Women!!!

I know none of you have this problem.

Looks like she's ignored the golden rule : new kitchen = new bar & dartboard for the boys also required. Tsk, tsk.

You're kidding Bart!!

Due to this sort of thing, I now have a rule about painting - my wife can choose any colour she likes and I'll do it. If after having done it, she decides she doesn't like it - tough. I'm not doing it again.

It's amazing how she "loves" some of the bloody horrible colours she's chosen!! :green:

Bart, I'm in the same boat as you. I live with my girlfriend and we're about to re-do her entire kitchen. The only problem is I'm the one who's actually enjoying it! :P I keep bouncing ideas off of her and she just can't make a decision. That's the part that's killing me. Like should we rip out all the cabinets or re-face them?

How was your experience with Sears? We're actually going to be calling them in the next few days to get a quote.

"God I love the smell of Lowe’s in the morning!"

You're not alone, mate! I'm renovating my house and I have no say in the kichen! Anywhere else but the kitchen.

It's their domain. Hey, I'm not stupid! The garage and study is mine. Wait till she sees what I have in mind.
