2013 College Football

My Buckeyes looked above average yesterday as a team. The offense scored 52 but we gave up 34...that's not good. Pace of the game at CAL was crazy. It looked like CAL was playing too fast for thier own good.

Bama/A&M game was good, but even though Bama only won by 7 they owned the game after the first quarter.

Still think Bama is the best team in the land. They are beatable but just not by us (at least not with our backup QB playing).

Wellllll, that was an ugly win. Wow did we play like crap. In any case, a win is a win. I was surprised how Carlos Hyde just tore the NW defense to pieces, but it is what it is...

I'm a huge football fan. I wish I had more time to watch college ball but, I can't find the time to sit and watch. Hard enough to keep track with the NFL. I am currently playing HS Football for tumwater HS. I'm C team this year (I'm a freshman). We've only lost one game this year. Our JV and varity are undefeated with only 2 games left! Looks like we're heading to state again.

Going to be a great weekend. Bama plays LSU, Oregon vs Stanford, and FSU vs Miami, although Miami is not really #7 if you ask me...

Will be interesting.

Sorry about that man...we may lose against MSU this weekend too. Can't wait for SAT and the championship games. It should be a fun day to watch College Football.

And USC just replaced one loser coach with another loser. Very sad. Headed for yet another terrible season next year I'm afraid. Hope they didn't give that dead beat a long contract.

Well at least Orgeron should land on his feet. He made a pretty good showing with a pretty wounded team while he was there.

In other news THE BCS IS GONE!!!

It's about time'

Concur. Have been calling for a playoff for years. At least next year we get 4 teams, but it really should be 8. They will get there when they can figure out how to divvy up the money.
Not sure about USC. Will have to give them a year or two with the new coach to see, but the landscape of college football is getting more challenging by the day, so he better bring it in a hurry. Our boy up North may be short lived if he can't beat my Buckeyes next year...

Bye Bye to my Buckeyes, Hello Auburn HAHAHA!

The only thing that was strange to me about the game is I believe we were outcoached. It isn't often that someone gets the better of Urban Meyer, but they did Saturday.

Should be a great championship game betweeen Auburn and FSU, and my guess is Auburn is indeed a team of destiny this year (just ask Bama fans about that!)

I'd add out-played as well as the obvious out-scored.
Strange to me that the fighting walnuts were ranked so high when their schedule didn't warrant it.

Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.

Azzurro - I prefer the game with the round football.

Not a bad choice in teams for round ball, but really not open to a lot of criticism about my team from someone who has no horse in the race...after coming in humbly myself.

I am not locked into any roundball football team so wouldn't you find it interesting for me to bash the Azzuro and when you asked who I rooted for I told you I don't really have a team?

I have yet to meet a Rotorhead I didn't like...hmmm. What type? By the way I am a Naval Officer too. Reservist now for 8 years after nearly a decade active duty...SWO

I like to watch squashed-ball, I just don't have a college team I root for.
I went to an Engineering school, we didn't have sports.
And, being from California, we don't get the whole football as religion thing. So with mascots like the anteaters and bannana slugs, i was just having a bit of fun with "the" ohio state nuts.
Although, I think the ranking question is a legitimate one.

I'm a west coast HS guy. Flown Hueys, Frogs, Hooky Tooks, Sea Kings, and 60s.

Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.
