Seems a bit pie-in-the-sky to me, still a conceptual idea. I must say that the marketing lingo is a bit bogus too - cars are dangerous but millions of people filling the sky with flying cars would be safe????

I really like this concept from the Netherlands, the PAL-V. At least it has already been tested on the road and in the air succesfully, and being a Gyrocopter it can land in very tight spaces and when the engine fails it doesn't plummet. It seems it would cost around €200k. It could certainly make the commute from Jersey to London a lot easier.

I do like wings, rotors don't glide very well.

Boxer, jet planes glide only slightly better than a refrigerator. Helos on the other hand float down like a feather. Ask me how I know....

Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.
