World class beer drinkers anonymous

OK list your favorite beers and the rarest beer you have had.

Favorites (in no order)

1. Samuel Adams (USA)
2. Harp (Ireland)
3. Spaten (little dots over the a; Germany)
4. Old Speckled Hen/Ruddles County (different beers same maker; UK)

There are more but right now these stick out. Sorry Dirk still haven't had a great Belgian beer.

Rarest beer:

Angkor Saphir (Cambodia)
Some random beers in Thailand

I know I'm different from the Europeans (so my British friend tells me). I like my beer very very cold (just above freezing). Bottles are perfered but a can will get the job done too. I drink for the taste and it is oh so good.

Beer I'm currently have: Cusouena (Peru). I will give the details of its taste when I open it.

Somebody in/near Germany please tell me something...
Do they really have beer vending machines there?

I heard this rumor before and thought that would be so cool; to have a vending machine which dispenses beers! I have even concidered buying an old machine from Pepsi/Coke and putting it in my house/garage but filling it with beer instead.

I have run across a couple of vending machines that have beer in southern california but not in the last 10 years. Too many libreals in this country deem it too easy for minors to get beer that way. even tho it was a navy base, go figure...

One great thing about Japan:

You can buy a beer in a vending machine and drink a beer on the street.
