RR Corniche, one of the most elegant post war Rolls of them all. Actually make that one of the most elegant cars of all. If I understand correctly, production started in about 1968, stopped some time in the 1980's and resumed again in the 1990's until the BMW takeover?

Steve McQueen in a navy Mulliner/Corniche fhc in The Thomas Crown Affair. Effortlessly cool.

I agree it is very cool and it is also a very good car - it's a Rolls! It used to be my most frequently used long distance car. It might regain that position now that I've had the handling package upgrade done.

The colour is "Sand" by the way.

Johan, you sure seem to keep your shops busy with projects !

Looking forward to the fresh skin.

IMHO, I think a car like that befits you, Capo. I can just imagine you driving it thru streets of Swiss, with your cigar. Not sure about your favorite cap tho !

I feel right at home in my Rollers!

This is my regular "looking smart" hat for Rolls top down driving. It protects eyes and neck from the sun and has the Zimbabwean Parks and Wildlife Conservation badge on the side.

can't wait to see the finish product!

Unless we're supposed to wait till the big reveal, what color are you repainting it?

Maserati GranTurismo MC - Giallo yellow
Porsche 911 GT3 RS - black with orange accents - wife's car
F355 Berlinetta - Giallo Modena, 6-speed manual, carbon sport seats -recently traded in
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S

didn't even notice it in original pic. Thought it was an undercoat or something.

Very nice indeed!

Then you may need to have her earn her new coat.
Ship her along with you and take a tour to where we are, soon.

Bring along your small bores, and we'll provide the falcons, salukis, and cheetahs for a local taste of our hunt.

Wooow!!!!

That would truly be a fantastic experience!!

I haven't been to your part of the world but I would love to go. The Moroccan Sahara has really put the hook in me. I have enjoyed the sundowns on the dunes very much!

Falcons, salukis and cheetahs sound like a beautiful dream!

It is!

I've just loaded up the Road King for the Alpes Maritimes tour and the KTM 450 with GPS and two interchangeable tanks by snap locks, one standard 9,5 litres and one 23 litre rallye tank - perhaps enduro in Tuscany again?

I'm a bit delayed and still need to sort some expedition material before leaving towards Lugano.

Would be a pleasure and honor to have you, and anyone on the forum, over as our guests. Stories shared under tents, dried dates, and ancient winds.

We're waiting on these beautifully insane machines to move those elegant cheetahs and falcons around. 'Sand', it is:
