Nothing like watching a one of 764, $600K Miura go up in flames. Sad....

Current: 85' GTS QV
It's a simple process...... it's just complicated by human beings....

Yeah, but I hate to see anything beautiful being destroyed... it's like a modern day Jeanne d'arc. Probably.

Only 150 Miura SV's were made and this car's value was closer to $1.5 million US.

Miurasv, welcome to FL. Indeed, a sad thing to happen. Only several years back, an acquaintance of mine here in Yokohama let go of his SV at half that price. The car is in the States I believe.

Thank you, Onno. Very happy to help. James took me for a spin in your Boxer a few weeks ago. It's a fantastic car.

How nice to hear! Now you know you can't catch the sound in a video.

Yes, I agree about the sound, which is really raw, yet refined and sophisticated. Pure music!!!The beauty of the car can't be fully captured on video or in a picture either. The Boxer is a visual and aural delight. Such an exciting car.

I wonder if this car had original or very old fuel lines? Modern fuel does a number on older fuel lines. Sometimes you'll see pumps with E15 and that will ruin even modern cars not built for it. For all you classic owners, let this be a warning to check your fuel lines, pumps, etc. Considering the way the world is shifting more and more towards mixed fuels, I'd make sure a vehicle like this can handle alcohol fuel. Then you don't have to worry about the fuel lines going bad.
