3 Car Garage Game

Just for a bit of fun....
Rules
You have approx 200GBP / 300USD / 240EUR and an empty 3 car garage
You have to choose upto 3 cars that provide:
  • a moderm car/Daily Driver
  • a classic car
  • a sports car/convertible
if you can roll all the types into one or 2 cars thats fine.
dont let problems like no car being currently available worry you. Be as specific as you want to be on models/colours/etc. Mix and match marques is ok, all one is ok too
dont worry about 10K plus or minus but keep it reasonable.

A few examples:
Ferrari:
Modern: 75K 575, Classic 365 GTC/4 100K, convertible 308 GTS 35K: Total 210
Aston:
Modern: 90K Rapide, Classic 80's V8 Vantage 80K, convertible DB7 Vantage 35K: Total 205
Maserati:
DD: 35 QP, Classic 60s Ghibli 80K, convertible GranCab 80K : Total 205
Lambo:
Modern: 110K Gallardo LP550, classic & convertible: 90K Diablo Roadster: Total 200K

I think multi-marques are more interesting and I'm sure you can come up with better....

Except for HGTC models, 575Ms are generally well below 75K pounds.

Great thread!

For me, I'd also get the 458 Italia, for sports car around $200k

Then for DD, I'd get an used 911 Turbo for around $80k.

And convertible, and future classic, Honda S2000 for around $20-25k.

Maserati GranTurismo MC - Giallo yellow
Porsche 911 GT3 RS - black with orange accents - wife's car
F355 Berlinetta - Giallo Modena, 6-speed manual, carbon sport seats -recently traded in
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S

I agree, great thread!

Sports Car/Convertible: F430 Spider Red/Tan, HGTE wheels, F1, Capristo or Tubi $150k

Modern: 550 Maranello Red/Tan, Tubi $65k

Classic: 308 GTS QV Red/Tan, Tubi $35k

I only spent $250k so I guess I'm cheap.

Ciao Jules

I missed this first time around, so here goes:

Classic=E-type Jaguar (80K), sports=Ferrari 550 (60K) and the modern / DD would either be a slightly second-hand Porsche 911 (heart) or a new, fully specced Merc E-class estate (head) (60K).

Best wishes, John

Does the daily require more than 2 seats?

Classic = E-type S1
Sports = 550 or 430 Spider

Depending on seating requirement, the daily drive could be a Quattroporte.

Ferrari:

Modern / Daily driver: 612 / 456
Sports: 360 CS ( I don't really know the price range for this one, help?)
Classic: 308 GTS QV (Magnum P.I. hell yeah!)

Non Ferrari:
Modern / Daily driver: MB CLS second generation (about 40k GBP)
Sports: 997 GT3 (about 70k GBP)
Classic: E46 M3 CSl (under 50k GBP)

Funny, all german cars... And still, i would have 40 000 left in my pocket to spend. Hmm. Elise, s2000 and Megane R26, Alfa Romeo 156 GTA...which one, or two,to choose?
