Sonoma Napa or something entirely different

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for something to do for a few days after Monterey Week and a trip to wine country in Sonoma or Napa seems like an idea.

Any suggestions for how to do it, what to avoid, where to visit or where to stay?

John

Go down the coast to Big Sur. Fantastic scenery. Places range from Post Ranch through Ventana Inn and down to the River Inn. The Highway 1 scenery is amazing and the Big Sur vibe is unique!

Last trip to CA wine country we enjoyed the Vintage Inn. Close to enjoy the sites yet far enough to enjoy the time away. Peju winery is a must! Plenty more we'll share if you select that region, PM me if you go that route.

Thanks Guys. Slight preference for wine country. I'm thinking that after a week drooling over the worlds finest classic cars, being in a rental Focus may take the shine off the coast drive thru Big Sur. Whereas leaving the car in the hotel car park while heading off to the nearest winery sounds like the perfect way to forget that I didn't win my 250SWB auction fund at Vegas the week before.

Silverado Trail. Stop at Duckhorn, Joseph Phelps, Hartwell.

Make sure you make tasting appointments
