How many Ferrari owners also own Maseratis?

Now that I am about to get my first F car, thought I'd post this question

I initially joined Maserati Life, and posted on there, same question but opposite (number of Maser owners who own Ferraris). Not surprisingly a lot of members own both.

So thought I'd ask it here....how many own Ferraris and Maseratis. I think they complement each other very well. my Gransport is more a sporty Grand tourer, and the F355 is more a sports car...

I also noticed a lot of people belong on both forums.

If you own both, which models of each do you own. Love knowing what other beauties people have in their garages.

I'd love to own a Maserati but it hasn't happened yet.

If possible, a nice 300S.

But in the off-chance you were talking about current models - I love the Granturismo, and the Quattroporte too. I can see myself owning either.

I would love to have another exotic like a QP in the garage next to the redhead but convincing the wife is another story......

I think it depends on usage. For me the QP was a DD. motorway miles, client site visits, mobile office, etc. After a while I stopped looking at it as an exotic and more as a means of A to B. For some reason or another that seemed to remove some of the gloss from the exotic car ownership.

The bizarre thing is that the LR Disco that replaced it was 3x it's price, yet I'm much happier to leave it dirty, park it anywhere, eat lunch, drink coffee, transport the kids etc in it and generally treat it as a workhorse, so it was never about actual value, more about perceived usage etc.

That make any sense?

Actually that makes complete sense. I'm worried if I drive the Gransport to work every time, it may diminish the specialness in the drive...

I dunno, I don't drive the Spider every day but I LOOK AT IT at least every couple of hours. It has never lost one iota of specialness. But then I'm not driving it to the corner market and my daily commute is only three miles. Maybe it would under those conditions?

Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.

Lol, I look at my garage at least 2-3 times a day too. My wife says I'll probably ignore the Gransport when my F355 comes...and I said hell no!

It's like your kids...I have 3 little ones, but when #2 or 3 were born, it didn't make the first child less special!

We added the '07 QP Automatica to the garage a few weeks ago. My wife was thrilled and doesn't miss the '09 BMW 335i Conv at all. Who can blame her? This car is so damn awesome. Now she gives me less crap about the other 2 Italian mistresses of mine - the F355 and the '67 Alfa Spider.
