Ferrari dealership

So my birthday is coming up in feburuary. For my birthday I like to go to car dealerships and look around. One time they even let my dad and I take a 07 mustang gt for a spin. So I've been thinking for the last year or so of going to the Ferrari dealership in the seattle area. Since it is a little bit different/formal from my local ford dealership, I just wanted to know from your personal experience if its normal/okay for a person not looking to buy car or something of that origin to just drop in and take a look around and ask a few questions? I guess im trying to say i don't know the "code" if you get what I mean of going to a ferrari dealership.

Thanks

Should be fine, but don't just pitch up by surprise. Make an appointment.

All the people at Ferrari of Seattle were more than willing to talk to me and let me look at the cars even though they knew I could not afford to buy one. You should be OK.

Agreed, always good to make an appointment. Might like to take the tack when speaking to the dealer that you are an active contributor to the Ferrarilife forum and would like to do a feature thread on the dealer. Can't hurt to oil the wheels.

That's a good idea, since there's a few that have visited that dealership.

Thanks guys. I'll call them up ask them if its ok to drop in. And it wouldn't be a bad idea to write a review on the dealership since I am already somewhat of a professional writer.

I receive product to write reveiws for one of th US's biggest aisoft gun distributer
I have written several reviews for gerber knives
And some for CRKT

It's actually Ferrari and Maseratti of Seattle. They share a showroom with Maseratti.

I'm a Ferrari owner and I stopped into the Ferrari dealership in Singapore once and was totally given the cold shoulder. I just wanted to take a couple of pictures of the cars and I was told to leave.

Hmm... It must just vary between the mangers and workers at each dealership. Hope seattle is nice!

A Ferrari dealer is like any other dealer...they're a business and want to make a sale.

I have found if you Tell them you have a good job, they almost let you drive whatever you want.

When I lived in Chicago, I went to the Ferrari/Maserati dealer, told them I'm a doc, and they let me drive the 360 and Quattroporte, and this was 3 years ago. I could have test drove the 430 spider if I had the time too.

Unfortunately, they may give you the cold shoulder if you look like you don't have money....from my experience....that's how the world works I guess...

Cutter- The smart ones know the young guy looking can become the future person buying down the line. Good luck.

I got a ride in a Gallardo last year for my birthday. The day we went to collect our tr from Lamborghini JHB, a Gallardo came to us and they told me to get in. It was lots of fun and amazingly nice of the guys to do. I think they are banking on me convincing my dad to buy a gallardo... Which I wouldn't mind

Good luck cutter.

From your post, I'm assuming your going with your dad?

Also depends on which salesman you get. Some lets you drive whatever, others "screen" out customers.
